Wait to paint the windows until you have done any necessary weathering. This sequence shows weathering done with chalk. The area to be weathered has a little Testors Dulcoat dabbed on and then a stick of artists chalk is held above the cab while a knife blade scrapes a fine dust of chalk off the stick and lets it float down onto the wet Dulcoat lacquer,

Building an Older Style Gooseneck Trailer

Here’s how I started one of the older style gooseneck trailers. This style was available as an option through the 1950s but the flat design made much more sense.
I wish the white styrene would show up better in these photographs. Obviously the assembly can’t be painted until it is nearly completed, one of the benefits of styrene is the ease gluing one part to another.
